This is so good! The mice are just so cute and the end gave me a giggle. The hobbits and Gandalf are all mice while the orcs are rats and Sauron is a creepy owl.

“In a dark subway tunnel, a group of mice find a gold ring-pull that seems to have a mysterious effect on one of them. Not so far from them, an owl and his enslaved rats are watching. The owl sends his rats to get hold of this strange object…”
I could spend hours scrolling through all the bookish posts on Instagram. I love seeing what people are reading and what they thought about the book. If they’re reading anything I read or want to read and how they’re taking their photos.
There are some Instagrammers who just steal the show with their photos.
My bestie is visiting this weekend so I will be pretty quite in internetland. I just wanted to say happy weekend to you all and I hope you have a great one! I’d love to know what you’re all reading and where you’ll be reading this weekend?
If the weather was nice I would be sitting in my freshly mowed (love the smell of freshly cut grass!!) on my NEW (well, new to me) garden furniture. Possibly with a glass of wine….. If the rain stays away I’ll sit out with Kit and have a natter and glass of wine instead.
I’ve been listening to this playlist on youtube quite a bit this week. I think listening to Postmodern Jukebox so much has me branching out music wise.
My Goodreads shelf has like 6 books on it….I read a bit of each of these yesterday so I’m just going to count them.
In Other News…
Last night I dreamt I was trying to find a backdoor entrance to Disneyland with Henry Cavil….he was working as a waiter in a cheap hotel…. We didn’t find one and I’m sad to say I had no further adventures with Mr Cavil.
Happy Friday!!!! You deserve a drink after the week you’ve had. How about a cocktail?….. I absolutely love cocktails and recently bought a real pretty cocktail shaker so it’s time to shake it up! I thought it would be fun to pick out some cocktails based on book covers (I may have a skewed idea of what fun is…). I picked some favourite books and matched cocktails based on colours and the booze I prefer to drink.
