Synopsis: Wonder is around every corner, and on every plate. The curious minds behind Atlas Obscura now turn to the hidden curiosities of food, which becomes a gateway to fascinating stories about human history, science, art, and tradition—like the first book, all organized by country, lavishly illustrated, and full of surprises.

Pages: 448 pages

My Rating: ★★★★★

Review: This book was utterly fascinating! It’s full of easy to read foodie facts, stunning photos and even the odd recipe. Some of the foods showcased look quite tasty but others are repulsive but still pretty interesting.
A wonderful addition to a foodie or world traveller’s coffee table.
