It’s that time of year again! I think most people have done this tag by now but I’m getting in there just in time π

Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
I actually had a few DNF’s this year and not because the books were bad. I lost the desire to read a few times during the year probably because of going in and out of lockdown more than once. TV was a stronger escape for me during it all. Some of the books I started and haven’t finished yet are Everybody Matters by Mary Robinson, Chocolat by Joanne Harris and Francey by Deirdre Purcell.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
I’m reading The Secret History by Donna Tart which is pretty autumnal with it’s dark academia vibes.
Is there a new release youβre still waiting for?
Nope π
What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?
We’re way too close to the end of the year for me to read three books π I doubt I’ll even finish my current read before Jan 1st.
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
The Secret History is a contender but we’ll see.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2021?
Yes, but nothing is set in stone. I would like to be more relaxed about my reading and not feel guilty when I don’t read.
Where to Find Me
I totally agree about not wanting to set too much pressure around reading for 2021

I really want to relax a bit more next year. I think I’ll even make my reading goal one book a month.

Honestly that sounds great, it keeps you motivated to keep reading throughout the year without putting too much pressure on yourself
