Title: Three Bedrooms, One Corpse
Series: Aurora Teagarden #3
Author: Charlaine Harris
Genre: Cosy Mystery
Synopsis: Deciding if she wants to go into real estate becomes a life-or-death choice for Aurora “Roe” Teagarden. A naked corpse is discovered at her first house showing. And when a second body is found in another house for sale, it becomes obvious that there is a very cool killer at large in Lawrenceton, one who knows a great deal about real estate-and maybe too much about Roe.
“Why was it librarians had such a prim image? With all the information available in books right there at their fingertips, librarians could be the best-informed people around. About anything.”
Pages/Hours: 256 pages
My Rating: ★★★★☆
Even though, again, Roe seems to be passively involved with the murder mystery until the end of the book, it’s still very enjoyable. It’s almost more of a small town story with murders instead of a cosy mystery.
The synopsis makes it sound like Roe is being chased by the killer but if she hadn’t of found the body I doubt she would have been on his radar at all! Her only real involvement comes at the end of the book.
Despite the lack of sleuthing it’s an entertaining and easy read.

Read a Preview of Three Bedrooms, One Corpse
Three Bedrooms, One Corpse has a bunch of covers. I really like the one with the vases, how about you?
It’s been a while since I read enough to warrant a wrap-up post. It feels so good to be reading again now the anxiety over everything has calmed down for me. So, this is what I read in May and my thoughts on them. I’m not going to go into too much detail here or… Read more
My TBR is a bit ambitious this month. I’ve picked out 9 books which is less than what I managed to read in May but a heck of a lot more than what I’ve been reading otherwise. The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins Ambition will fuel him. Competition will drive him. But… Read more
Ooh…thank you! Will do!
I recommend checking out that series and the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews.
I love fantasy books, but urban fantasy just sounds so….different. I love different.
I adore that miniseries!! I love rewatching it on Netflix when I can’t find anything new to watch.
Thank you so much! I would normally read about 5 or 6 books in a month so this was a…
