Reading on the couch or on the bed?
The couch because when I read in bed I find it difficult to stop and I end up staying up way too late. Also, the couch is close to the fireplace *snug*.
Male main character or female main character?
I very rarely read books with a male protagonist. I don’t do this on purpose I just seem to gravitate towards books with a female lead.
Sweet snacks or salty snacks when reading?
Salty. Gimme a bag of crisps or a bowl of nachos and I’m happy.
Trilogies or quartets?
I tend to read series with 6+ books. I do like trilogies though. I like how everything gets wrapped up nicely.
First person POV or third person POV?
I prefer first-person. I find it more immersive.
Reading at night or in the morning?
Night. If I started reading in the morning I would read for the entire day and get nothing done.
Libraries or bookstores?
Both. I love buying pretty books or a book that I know I will want to have forever and the library is great when funds are low.
Books that make you laugh or books that make you cry?
I much prefer to laugh.
Black book covers or white book covers?
I like books that have a simple black cover. I think they’re very striking.
Character driven or plot driven stories?
I prefer character driven for the most part but read plot driven every now and then.

Did you have to post a picture of nachos? 😂 now I’m hungry!

I loved this tag!💚 Yeah I feel like every book I read usually makes me cry, so reading a book that makes me laugh, i tend to cherish it more LOL. If one thing is evidently clear is that now I want nachos.🙏🏽😍

good one. i used to read only female protagonist – character driven – but was totally caught off guard when i read Harry dresdon by Jim Butcher. and oh, salty definitely is the snack of choice – because sweets disappear too fast!

Love the Dresden Files!! Can’t wait for the next book to come out. I think I’ll need to do a quick reread first though…

I haven’t read his other one that’s high fantasy (at least I think it is…) but I recently bought a new steampunk book by him. Haven’t read it yet but I’ve heard it’s good. The first book is The Aeronauts Windlass (I think that was the title anyway).
