What I thought about the book:
Pretty good prequel. Doesn’t spoil anything for the main series and character’s are well rounded despite the short length. The ending is a bit odd, though. It’s like a snappy summary just to finish it.

I read one of the books in this series and despite enjoying it, I made the mistake of reading it before reading the books preceding it. Thanks for the review, it sounds like a promising read 🙂 One more addition to my to-read list!
